Four times each year, in partnership with the Christian Medical and Dental Association, we host an 8-hour Health and Wellness Day where individuals can receive free dental and medical care. Most dental procedures are offered, from X-rays and exams to restorative procedures and oral surgery. Medical care normally includes pain management, HIV/AIDS testing, immunizations, women's health, and health education.
Our primary target is the chronically homeless individual without care, but we also serve the situationally homeless and under-served populations as space allows.

San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic wants to help you enjoy a healthy life by providing dental care to those who qualify. Please review our patient criteria, collect the required documents, and make an appointment at the clinic to complete your screening during regular office hours. Appointments are required to receive services. Our availability for emergencies is limited. In emergency situations, it is best to phone before you come in. If you arrive without notice, we cannot assure that you will be seen.
Eligibility screenings are done when you first come in as a new patient and annually. For annual renewals, only proof of total household income is required. * Applicants must be residents of Bexar County at least 18 years old. * Applicants must have a household income at or less than federal poverty guidelines. * Applicants must present proof of eligibility for each requirement. Treatment adherence counseling is provided to ensure readiness for and adherence to complex HIV treatments. • In addition, medical case managers help to navigate and coordinate the complex social service system thus ensuring access to all available medical and supportive services that may help to optimize their life situations and improve healthcare outcomes. Non-Medical Case Management: • Our non-medical case managers provide guidance and assistance to clients in accessing medical, social, community, legal, financial and other needed services. Non-medical case managers may also help clients access other public and private programs for which they may be eligible, such as Medicaid, Medicare Part D, State Pharmacy Assistance Programs, Pharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Patient Assistance Programs and Health Insurance Marketplace Plans. Behavior/Mental Health: • Professional counselors help clients identify goals and potential solutions to problems which cause emotional turmoil; seek to improve communication and coping skills; strengthen self-esteem; and promote behavior change and optimal health. • Our mental health clinicians are state-licensed professionals who can provide individual and group therapy. Dental Care: • Clients receive HIV-related oral health care or dental care through dental subcontractors in the community. Transitional, Short-term Housing: • Only a short walking distance from SAAF, the facility houses a total of 20 men, women and transgender homeless clients at any given time • Staffed 24/7 • Residents may remain in the program for 90 days and are eligible to re-enter program after 90 days of discharge. • The Carson House is a drug and alcohol free environment. • The mission of the program is to allow homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS to reside in a comfortable, home-like environment for up to three months, providing them the opportunity to move beyond their present situation and achieve residential stability. • Clients admitted to program can be referred from any variety of AIDS service or social service organizations, such as prison discharge units, hospital discharge units, drug treatment programs, etc. • Residents pay a minimal monthly housing fee. • The facility is wheelchair accessible.

Every Moment Matters Agency offers Home and Community-Based Services to eligible clients living within our service area scope. The Home and Community-based Services (HCS) program provides individualized services and supports to people with intellectual disabilities who are living with their families, in their own homes or in other community settings, such as small group homes where no more than four people live. The society is under the patronage of St. Vincent de Paul and derives its inspiration from its members, to help those who are in need, to relieve suffering and to provide a Christian outreach to our neighbors. Services include visiting the poor in their homes, providing food from the church food pantry, and assistance with emergency partial payments of utility, rent and medical expenses. Our DePaul Children’s Center and DePaul-Wesley Children’s Center are in full operation, following all health and safety recommendations of our state and local government.

Our other locations also remain open during normal business hours to provide essential services to those in most need. However, we have now implemented several safety measures including directing traffic flow to our main entrances/exits only and performing health screenings on every individual visiting our centers.
