Innova's women-only IOP meets 3 days a week via telehealth, so you don't have to manage a commute, childcare or any other barriers to getting the support you need to live your best life. We have morning and evening options to fit any schedule.

Innova's Relationship Renewal track is made for those who have been left to live with pain inflicted by others. We believe you can overcome those hurts and find strength, renewal and fresh hope again.

Identifies the ways one uses drugs, alcohol and other substances as a means of coping with life's difficulties and offers alternative means of coping.
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Provides practical life skills for dealing with emotions, setting boundaries, having difficult conversations and downregulating when life becomes overwhelming.
  • Shame Resilience
Brings forth ways to identify shame, protect against its impact and move past it to protect one's sense of self-worth.

Ransomed Life is one of the only organizations in San Antonio that offers to mentor this specific demographic.

Since the trauma has been in relationships, Ransomed Life believes that healing will also come through relationships. That is why we offer both group and one-on-one mentoring.

We have group activities that bring a holistic approach to encompass spiritual, mental, behavioral, and physical care while having fun. In addition, each girl is paired with a trauma-trained mentor to walk alongside them through life. The mentor helps them set goals and reinforces the work happening with the counselors.

Another form of therapy created to help trauma-affected clients, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) uses eye movements and processes similar to those the body utilizes during REM sleep, to help the patient reframe traumatic events.

Some studies report that EMDR can accelerate the healing process by years in comparison to psychotherapy alone. Our experts are available for any questions you may have about the benefits and processes of EMDR.

We offer both virtual and in-office therapy sessions. Both options are face-to-face to encourage connection and enhance visual understanding.

It is our core belief that, in order to make changes in your life, you must turn your attention to your thoughts, language, and physiology — focusing on the whole, rather than the individual parts.

By helping individuals view themselves as a whole entity, we can help them gain control and, ultimately, change their behaviors to ones that enable them to truly thrive. Our Professional Development Services are designed with those same values in mind.

We offer well-bred labrador retriever puppies to veterans suffering from seen and unseen military related injuries.

People often confuse a service dog with a therapy dog or emotional support animal. To determine which is the best option, you must consider their purpose.

  • Service Dog

According to Federal Law, a service animal is not a pet but a tool used to mitigate their owner’s disabilities by offering assistance in some way.

  • Therapy Dog

A therapy dog is trained to provide comfort and affection to people in places like hospitals, libraries, schools, etc. They do not have rights under the law. Therapy dogs are often summoned to assist with those that have gone through a tragedy to allow them to deal with their emotions and relieve their stress.

  • Emotional Support Animal

Emotional support dogs (animal) provide their owners therapeutic benefits through companionship. There are other species that can be considered emotional support animals. There are 2 legal protections for emotional support dogs (1) they can fly with a person who has an emotional or psychological disability and (2) they qualify for no-pet housing.

Veterans only.

There is no charge for puppies or for service dog training.

Warrior Groups are fellowships for combat veterans and their families to share their experiences, testimonies of healing, compassion, and hope in overcoming the invisible wounds of war.

This is not a treatment program, but rather a peer coaching and support program whose primary purpose is helping combat veterans find healing, balance, and positive re-integration with their families and in society.

Participants are required to be military combat veterans or family members of those who have served in combat and be willing to face the challenges of managing post-traumatic stress and related conditions.

Dual diagnosis occurs if someone is suffering from a mental health disorder alongside a substance use disorder, creating a perpetual cycle of abuse and distress. Dual diagnosis treatment is complex, as it requires simultaneous and effective intervention for both issues.

At Ripple Ranch, we are passionate about breaking this devastating cycle. We provide our clients with the opportunity to not only reach recovery from their substance use but also uncover and treat co-occurring mental health disorders.

The treatments at Ripple Ranch Recovery may vary since its personalized for each individual, but it’s mostly a combination of the following therapies:

  • Dual diagnosis individual therapy
  • Dual diagnosis group therapy
  • Life-skills training

Aside from these evidence-based treatments, we have alternative methods that offer patients a more holistic form of treatment, like yoga and tai chi, to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

The Catalyst is a holistic therapeutic program dedicated to providing all Military Women with the Tools; Techniques; Personal and Professional Strategies needed for building fulfilling and successful Military/post-military/civilian lives.

The Catalyst program examines the traumatic event and subsequent development of post-traumatic stress disorder. We learn to recognize the underlying emotional pain that fuels specific behaviors. We begin the process of healing these emotions through a combination of clinical therapy, holistic approaches, and experiential modalities. We understand that trauma and PTSD treatment is visceral, sensory, and cellular. Our team focuses on building trust, creating a safe environment, and steps towards recovery with the involvement of the family or caregiver. Our team is specifically trained in handling participants who suffer from trauma and PTSD.

The complexity of PTSD and existence of additional symptoms calls for special resources, a variety of treatment options, frequent monitoring, and support offered by The Catalyst program. We provide these services to ensure you receive the best treatment possible in a warm, nurturing environment. A therapeutic retreat program such as The Catalyst is one of the most effective forms of intervention available, as it allows you the opportunity to work through your problems while leaving the stress of your environment to focus on what truly matters : RECOVERY.

Trinity Oaks dedicates our Heroes Celebrations to humbly serving and sharing our appreciation for the brave men and women who protect our American way of life.

Our outdoor program for Heroes focuses on combat veterans of all generations and first responders. We understand that healing internal and external injuries and promoting general well-being is a process made easier by spending time outdoors.

For our Heroes, Trinity Oaks hosts experiences of a lifetime! Through adaptive methods, such as Trinity Oaks’ Action Trackchair (a customized, all-terrain wheelchair on tracks), participants can move beyond physical limitations to enjoy hunting and fishing with increased mobility and independence. We understand that not all injuries are physical and often host live combat veterans who are dealing with PTSD and other mental traumas.

At the end of each trip, the harvested fish and game are processed and given to the participants or distributed to others who need a nutritious meal.
