The Military Veteran Peer Network is a Peer-to-Peer based program developed to train Veteran Volunteers across our service area to build support networks within their community. Veteran Volunteers are trained to facilitate group activities, while building camaraderie, trust, and community support through resource identification/linkage, and community engagement.

If you would like to volunteer, or have questions please contact our Veteran Peer Coordinator at (512) 392-7155 or (737) 221-1494.

Additionally, helpful information on benefits and services earned through your military service may be found at The Texas Veterans Portal.

The Youth Crisis Respite Center serves teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 who are experiencing a need for a short-term “break” from a pending or existing stressor. Referrals can be self or family initiated. Referrals may also come from schools, law enforcement, mental health facilities, hospitals, and local mental health professionals.

The center provides short-term residential crisis services to youth with low risk of harm to self or others. Respite services are provided in a safe, caring, traditional home environment with 24-hour supervision. Activities are individualized to target and alleviate the immediate challenges youth and/or family are experiencing. While at the Center, youth continue their education and are offered social and recreational activities.

Ages: 13-17.
