The Landing is Celebrate Recovery’s student ministry. This curriculum is designed to mirror the same material as the adult Celebrate Recovery (CR) curriculum, only designed for students.
The Landing provides a safe place for students to process life and the struggles that accompany it, provides tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and points them toward the freedom found in Jesus Christ.
A typical night in the Landing will consist of a student’s connection with the leaders, God, Biblical truths, recovery principles, and fellowship with each other. Ultimately, The Landing can help students learn how to break cycles of dysfunction and provide tools for them to live free and healthy lives.
CR for students is geared towards Jr. High and High School age students, 12-18 years of age.

Community-Based Services
Community-based services involve a combination of case management and counseling for people diagnosed with a serious mental illness who have experienced hospitalizations related to their mental illness.
Our staff provides assistance and education to individuals to develop their life skills and establish supports they need to live successfully in the community. A wide variety of life situations can contribute to stressors that trigger experienced symptoms, so our staff is prepared to provide assistance, education, and training in almost all areas of life that may be contributing to ongoing life struggles. Our goal is to help our clients develop the support systems and skills they need to achieve their personal life goals.
We provide services in a variety of community locations based on the client’s needs. Education and support take place in homes, day programs, and other locations our clients frequent. Our flexible approach empowers our clients to overcome barriers that prevent them from reaching their life goals.
We have agreements with psychiatrists to enable us to get our new clients, who need an outpatient psychiatrist, an appointment within 7 days of discharge from the hospital, instead of having to wait 3-6 months for a follow-up appointment.
We are contracted with:
- Molina Medicaid
- Amerigroup
- Cenpatico (Superior and IMHS)
- Medicaid
Veterans of all military services are welcome to join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

After the meetings, join us for a great lunch!
The RBH Veterans Service Program offers several resources that can help. Many of our military personnel find themselves dealing with the stress associated with retirement from their military duties. Some fight anxiety, depression, and unemployment, while others are plagued with symptoms of substance abuse and PTSD. Many of these strong Veterans endure this suffering without getting any help.
If you or your loved one is struggling as a Veteran, know that there is a better way. The nightmares can end. The anger and distrust can subside. It is our mission to help you heal the wounds of trauma so that your future does not have to be a repetition of the past and so that you can find the path toward rejuvenated happiness and purpose.
RBH offers the following Veteran Services in honor of the courage and commitment exemplified by our military personnel.

Inclusion Ministry
Great Oaks Kids Inclusion Ministry says yes to Jesus through supporting, equipping, and encouraging families of children with special needs to live a full life in Jesus.
Celebrate Recovery is a program designed to help those struggling with hurts, hang-ups, and habits by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through the recovery process.
Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory.
During our meetings, we typically praise God in song, pray for each other, have Bible readings, listen to a Recovery-centered message, recite the "Serenity Prayer", and recount the twelve steps of AA or the eight principles of Celebrate Recovery. Irregardless of our uniquely individual "hurts, habits, or hang-ups," Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to seek God's help in our lives.
A meal is served at 5:45 PM if you want to arrive early.

Here’s how Safe Place works:
Step One – A young person enters a Safe Place and asks for help.
Step Two – The site employee finds a comfortable place for the youth to wait while they call the licensed Safe Place agency. For the greater San Antonio area that is Roy Maas Youth Alternatives (RMYA).
Step Three – An RMYA staff member will talk with the youth to get more information and explain that an SAPD officer can escort them to the RMYA Bridge Emergency shelter. If the child is agreeable, the RMYA staff will contact SAPD to transport the youth to the shelter.
Step Four – Once at the Bridge, direct-care staff and counselors meet with the youth and provide support. Agency staff ensures the youth and their families receive the help and professional services they need.
This program is for youth under the age of 18 in need of immediate help and safety.
