The Integrated Wellness Clinic offers an integrated approach to health care services to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness and mental illness.
Individuals receive psychiatric services, primary care services, nursing services, case management, and rehabilitative services.
The Transformational Campus provides residential housing while clients work to overcome the issues that led to their becoming homeless.

After enrolling with Homelink, if your need is not met by an immediate referral, you must maintain your eligibility every 30 days. This will be explained further during your Homelink assessment.
We provide assistance to men and women who are coming out of drug or alcohol rehab or incarceration and need a safe, clean and sober living environment to prevent relapse and reduce the likelihood of becoming homeless.
We provide emergency housing assistance by paying the security deposit and first two weeks of rent for entry into an approved sober living home, as well as grocery gift cards and bus passes whenever possible to remove barriers to getting employed.
We also provide referral assistance to other collaborating agencies that help the client with job search assistance and work-appropriate clothing.
Our programs have strict eligibility criteria, including:
- having a sponsor
- attending recovery-related meetings
- being employed or actively looking for work
- submitting to random substance use screening
- adherence to an absolute zero-tolerance substance use policy

The Empowering Voters Project strives to ensure that all voters in San Antonio know their rights and responsibilities on Election Day and go to the polls informed and empowered. The Project focuses on those constituencies that are underrepresented in the electoral process.

Harper's Chapel Ministries, in partnership with the City of San Antonio Department of Human Services Homeless Division and Daily Bread Ministries, has established a Resource Hub to assist the residential and houseless community.

- Showers for our homeless neighbors

Members of our congregation and ministry partners such as the SA Hope Center (formerly the Christian Hope Resource Center, or CHRC), Christian Assistance Ministries (CAM), Any Woman Can (AWC), and others provide opportunities toward holistic transformation for neighbors who are struggling.

We provide warm meals, showers with CAM, ID Recovery, respite, small groups, computer lab, street outreach, and personalized case management.
This program is in partnership with Grace Lutheran Church, the City of San Antonio, and local nonprofits including Christian Assistance Ministries (CAM), Haven for Hope, SA Hope Center, First Presbyterian Church, and Communities Under the Bridge (CUB).
The center is for anyone experiencing homelessness, about to experience homelessness, or in need of respite during the day.

The SA Hope Center program connects individuals and families with Social Workers, whom we call Mentors, to work together and address the root cause(s) of chronic poverty.
Mentors team with the program participants to create personalized goals that increase physical, emotional, and spiritual health by focusing on each person's unique strengths.
When empowering each individual through our programs, they begin positive steps towards achieving their goals of financial literacy, strengthening the family unit, career readiness, adult education, and overall wellness.
Enrollment Requirements:
- Proof of family size (birth certificate, picture IDs, or last year’s tax forms)
- Proof of Income (pay stubs or award letters)
- One-hour Orientation class (information about all programs)
- One-hour Financial Literacy class (money management needs vs. wants, budgeting, emergency funds, paying off debt, creating savings, etc.)

The Family Assistance Center’s main focus is to provide low income families and individuals with the support they need to move toward better jobs and financial self-sufficiency. Through combined federal (Community Services Block Grant), utility (CPS Energy and SAWS), and general fund dollars, the Department of Human Services’ Family Assistance Centers provides help to families in San Antonio and Bexar County that are seeking to meet basic needs, such as utilities and those aiming for better employment.

Certified financial counselors are available for personalized guidance and can help you deal with a wide range of personal financial issues. Counselors can help you:

CAM provides case management in the form of referrals to other agencies and help in navigating the social service system.

Our outreach workers help unhoused clients in central downtown and adjacent areas by:
- helping them locate shelter,
- accessing resources through our day center,
- offering transportation,
- navigating social services,
- connecting with medical care,
- recovering their IDs,
- applying for different housing options,
- and more.
Our licensed social worker leads a team of outreach specialists with lived experience to build personal and professional connections with people in need.
The team also works alongside the Centro “Quality of Life Ambassadors” who continuously walk the downtown area and assist people who appear to need assistance. Together we are caring for the needs of our unsheltered neighbors and creating a beautiful, welcoming, and safe downtown for all.
Our downtown street outreach team is a partnership with Centro San Antonio and The City of San Antonio (DHS).
Young Adult Stability and Support Program (YASS Center) is a youth drop-in center exclusively for young adults (ages 18-24) experiencing homelessness.
The YASS Center provides youth access to:

- mental health support

YASS center is located on the third floor of the Travis Park Church in downtown San Antonio. YASS services are delivered in a confidential, judgment-free zone. All who seek our assistance are treated with respect.

ReCAST focuses on increasing access to resources in the Promise Zone—several ZIP Codes in San Antonio's long-neglected Eastside community.
HIV-STI testing:
- HIV testing is confidential with results in 60 seconds
- HEP C testing results in 20 minutes
- Syphilis testing is a finger prick with results in 15 minutes.
- Gonorrhea and Chlamydia testing are swabs with results in 5-7 business days.
Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP):
PrEP is a medication that can help prevent HIV infection. It involves taking a pill called Truvada which, if taken daily over a period of time, can prevent HIV from infecting healthy cells.
Meet with one of our doctors or another PrEP Navigator to learn whether PrEP is right for you. If it is, we can write and fill a prescription for it.

Health Education Risk Reduction (H.E.R.R.)
AARC’s HERR program provides support and Health education and Risk Reduction through client individual and group education sessions.
Clients are provided information on HIV and HIV-Health-related issues that demonstrates the importance of medication adherence and disease management.

We provide free condoms to individuals and businesses. We also offer condom education.

Awaaz provides clients with referrals to appropriate agencies and professionals for assistance with legal matters, medical services, emergency shelter, as well as marriage, family, and group counseling.
Individuals who have had any criminal justice involvement in the past and are looking to plan their comeback can find assistance at the Bexar County Reentry Center.

Asylum: We represent people from around the world in their search for protection in the United States.
For those we don’t have the capacity to represent, we also provide support in the following areas:
- Preparing for asylum interviews

- Searching for human rights reports on conditions in their home country
- Preparing to present testimony in court
- Understanding denials and writing appeals
Unjustified Detention: We help people get released from immigrant detention centers through bond and parole requests, habeas corpus petitions and other federal litigation.
Access to Counsel: We advocate for access to legal representation regardless of ability to pay. Specifically, we help with:
- Language access for non-English speakers
- Reunification of families separated by the U.S. government
