Corazon Ministries has partnered with Deborah’s House to support women who have completed an in-patient program for their ongoing recovery from the disease of addiction by providing a safe sober-living home, spiritual mentoring, and modeling of life skills for their continued success.

Located in San Antonio's near northside, our six-bed home includes a beautiful kitchen, three bedrooms, a study area, and a large common area.

Residents pay no rent the first month, and rent after that is  30% of their net income, not to exceed $300 per month. Residents who are attending school or training programs may pay even less.

Our outreach workers help unhoused clients in central downtown and adjacent areas by:

  • helping them locate shelter,
  • accessing resources through our day center,
  • offering transportation,
  • navigating social services,
  • connecting with medical care,
  • recovering their IDs,
  • applying for different housing options,
  • and more.

Our licensed social worker leads a team of outreach specialists with lived experience to build personal and professional connections with people in need.

The team also works alongside the Centro  “Quality of Life Ambassadors” who continuously walk the downtown area and assist people who appear to need assistance. Together we are caring for the needs of our unsheltered neighbors and creating a beautiful, welcoming, and safe downtown for all.

Our downtown street outreach team is a partnership with Centro San Antonio and The City of San Antonio (DHS).
