We offer adult outpatient services, including a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) as a part of our continuum of care. The full-time day program (PHP) and part-time day program (IOP) are both great options for those stepping down from residential treatment or those looking to explore treatment. PHP is provided five days a week. IOP is provided three days a week.

Outpatient care and group counseling can be a great step-down option for those who’ve completed inpatient treatment or an overnight stay at another facility. Participants in outpatient programs attend therapy groups during the day or evening and return home after programming.

Adult outpatient services are a great way to test out treatment or a step-down from residential care that keeps you connected to treatment and the support system provided in inpatient.

Comprehensive treatment for adults (ages 18 and up) who do not require 24-hour care.

Children’s reactions to stressful life circumstances range from mild and short-lived to severe and long lasting. When a child’s problems do not resolve within a reasonable time-frame psychological intervention is recommended.

Therapy offers children the opportunity to identify, discuss and understand problems and to develop necessary coping skills.

Therapy also provides the opportunity to address parental concerns, educate parents regarding their child’s unique needs, and assist them in meeting these needs in an appropriate, effective fashion.

Finally, it is important to recognize that without appropriate and timely treatment a child’s problems may become severe and lead to more serious, long-lasting difficulties.

We consider parental involvement to be a crucial component of every child’s treatment. From the first session, parents are relied upon for information concerning their child’s development, behavior, relationships, and habits and they are closely consulted regarding the goals of treatment.

We view parents as our partners in the treatment process and rely upon them to provide critical feedback regarding the effectiveness of our interventions as they are developed and implemented.

Talking to family, friends, coworkers can is part of our social norm. To feel the support of a sympathetic listener helps us feel cared for and connected. Programs at church, Alcoholic’s Anonymous or other self-help groups can be incredibly helpful in addressing problems.

However, there are times when you need more than advice from a good friend, mutual support from family or a caring shoulder of a good listener. However, when these ways of coping don’t work, it may be time to seek professional help.

But you know you need professional help when nothing has worked, when you feel depressed, anxious or agitated, when you are unable to carry out your obligations and you are unable to function in your normal way. Seeking an experienced professional who is licensed and credentialed is of paramount importance.

No matter the cause, distress in a relationship can create undue stress, tension, sadness, worry, fear and other problems. You may hope your relationship troubles just go away on their own. But left to fester, a bad relationship may only worsen and eventually lead to physical or psychological problems, such as depression. A bad relationship can also create problems on the job and affect other family members or even friendships as people feel compelled to take sides.

Here are typical issues that marriage counseling can help you and a spouse or partner cope with:

  • Infidelity
  • Divorce
  • Substance abuse
  • Physical or mental conditions
  • Same-sex relationship issues
  • Cultural clashes
  • Finances
  • Unemployment
  • Blended families
  • Communication problems
  • Sexual difficulties
  • Conflicts about child rearing
  • Infertility
  • Anger
  • Changing roles, such as retirement
  • Domestic violence

Marriage counseling may also be of help in cases of domestic violence or abuse. However, if the abuse or violence has escalated to the point that you fear for your safety or that of your children, consider contacting the police or a local shelter or crisis center. Don’t rely on marriage counseling alone to resolve these problems.

Adult couples, partners or married couples.

You don’t need to have a troubled relationship to seek therapy. Marriage counseling can also help couples who simply want to strengthen their bonds and gain a better understanding of each other.

Marriage counseling can also help couples who plan to get married. This pre-marriage counseling can help you achieve a deeper understanding of each other and iron out differences before a union is sealed.

Our Counseling service offers full courses of psychotherapy and counseling to children, adults, and their families with a broad range of treatment needs.

Treatments range from targeted interventions for depression and trauma to broader needs such as behavioral challenges in children or adjustment to family conflict and changes.

Patients, families, and clinicians work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan with specific results. Visits may occur in one-hour sessions, once a week, twice a month or as needed. When specialty behavioral health care is no longer needed, patients may benefit from periodic visits with their primary care clinic’s integrated behavioral health provider to assist with maintaining gains and preventing relapse.

Our staff is comprised of therapists with broad training in evidence-based therapies.

Ages 6 and beyond.

Children/teens must have consent and be accompanied by a biological parent or legal guardian with rights to consent to invasive (non-emergency) treatment.

Counseling is voluntary and not required by another entity.
