The E-motion intensive outpatient therapy process for teens is designed to capitalize on the incredible plasticity of the adolescent brain. Our protocols that ignite and support neuroplasticity are especially effective with this population.
Teenagers in our group process learn to identify their individual needs and recognize their potential. Through this program, teens learn to understand themselves better, build effective communication skills, and develop positive coping strategies. The therapy process includes individualized assessments and regularly scheduled group sessions that provide a safe space for teens to share their experiences and receive support from peers and therapists.
We designed the therapeutic techniques used in the group sessions to help teens explore, identify, and manage their thoughts and feelings in a supportive environment. During the program, teens also learn how to recognize triggers that may lead to negative behavior, build self-esteem, develop healthier relationships with family members and peers, and make positive choices for their future.
The program is tailored to the needs of each individual teen and provides an opportunity for them to become more confident, empowered, and successful in life. At the end of the program, teens will better understand themselves and their capabilities as they move forward with their lives.
