Family Service recognizes the increased need for available family and individual counseling, parenting education, youth prevention education, and other human services resources in the Uvalde area. To meet this increased need, the Uvalde Walmart has offered their vacant clinic space to Family Service, and the company has also provided a $250,000 grant supporting comprehensive mental health services for the Uvalde community.

The provided clinic space is located at 3100 E Main St in the Uvalde Walmart building. Family Service, which is deeply embedded in the Uvalde community, has provided mental health and other support to the community since 2000 and will continue to provide those services.

Families and Individuals may also reach Family Service through our website or by calling our offices at 830-448-9630 or 830-591-8599. If anyone in the surrounding areas wishes to support our efforts, we invite them to donate to us online. All proceeds given in support of Uvalde will go back to providing long-term counseling and healing to the community.

All individuals and families in Uvalde and the surrounding area who wish to receive crisis support, mental health services, or other human service needs, can come to the new location and enter through the door outside of the Home and Pharmacy entrance.

Take the middle entrance to Wal-Mart and our private entrance is located by the vending machine.

Counseling services are for children, adolescents, and adults.

Free.
