Christ Episcopal Church, San Antonio is a loving and welcoming church family, centrally located in the historic Monte Vista District of San Antonio, Texas. Our sanctuary is one of the most peaceful and beautiful churches in the country, but the real beauty of our church is our people. We are a large church, but with a small, familial feel and lots of ways to become involved
We offer a Sidewalk Saturday Ministry every Saturday from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM. We provide a hot meal, groceries, clothing, toiletries, and haircuts once a month.
We have adopted James Madison Elementary School, Longfellow Middle School and Jefferson High School and support our students from Pre-K thru High School and into college, technical certification, or career.
We partner with many organizations throughout the community to serve those who are in need.
Every Saturday from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM we serve homemade breakfast tacos and coffee, bags of groceries, have a fresh produce and bread market, offer clothing, housewares and toiletries, and haircuts here and there. A Social Worker is on-site for resource assistance. We have an Outreach Pavilion and Campus where people gather and form community. A playground is available for children to play. Optional is a worship service at 8:30 AM every Saturday, Bible Study at 9:15 AM, and prayer team is available throughout the morning. We are open every Saturday throughout the year.

If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of a mental or behavioral health condition, not having someone to confide in or not knowing how to navigate available resources can make matters even worse.
The Bridges to Care program at Christ Episcopal Church offers mental and behavioral health support that includes:
- Confidentiality
- A compassionate listening ear
- Help finding educational resources
- Help connecting with professional service providers
- Help connecting with peer and family support groups
Wellness Champions at Christ Episcopal Church have received training from NAMI San Antonio to be companions to those struggling with mental and behavioral health concerns.
