Through the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics (MFC) at Endeavors, we offer discreet online video counseling sessions from the comfort of your home or office. Receive care outside of the clinic.
The same high-quality care available at an Endeavors Cohen Clinic is also available via a computer, tablet, or phone. You and your family can receive therapy in the privacy and comfort of your own home via our online therapy option. This allows you and your clinician to have appointments in real-time through video conferencing. At Endeavors Cohen Clinics, we use secure, private HIPAA-compliant video conferencing software to ensure confidential services.

Endeavors' Veteran Supportive Services (VSS) rapidly re-houses and prevents homelessness among eligible Veterans and their families.
Our programs offer emergency financial assistance and one-on-one case management services, including:
- Short-term Emergency Housing
- Rental/Utility Payment
Assistance Obtaining VA Benefits and Services
- Mental Health Resources
- Access to Substance Abuse Programs
- Job Placement Assistance
- Skills and Parenting Workshops
- Assistance with Other Public Benefits
Temporary financial assistance may be available for qualifying veterans on a case-by-case basis.
Shallow Subsidy Services
Veterans enrolled in Endeavors’ Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program may qualify for a rent subsidy service called “Shallow Subsidy.”
The Shallow Subsidy service provides eligible Veterans up to 50% of their rent for up to two years. For more information about the Shallow Subsidy service, please click here for more information.

- Low-income Veteran families
- Veterans facing eviction
- Veterans currently homeless and scheduled to move into housing within 90 days

The Endeavors San Antonio Homelessness Prevention Program will serve eligible individuals and families who are in danger of becoming homeless and/or facing eviction. The program is designed to stabilize individuals and families in their existing homes and/or assist individuals and families with securing affordable housing.
The program will provide clients with a wide array of support, including:
- Utility Deposits and Utility Payments (in arrears)
- Rental Application Fees
- Relocation Assistance and Initial Moving Costs
- Limited Child Care
- Rental Arrears and Forward (based on the individuals or family's financial needs to secure and/or sustain housing.)
Residents of San Antonio must meet the following guidelines:
- Primary lease holder
- Address must be within the city limits (Council Districts 1-10)
- Must not have received assistance from the City’s housing assistance program in the last 12 months
- Experienced financial hardship (reduction in income, Incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardship)
- At risk of becoming homeless (have a past due utility bill, rent notice, or eviction notice)
- Must have a household income at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI)

Endeavors offers a free parenting enrichment program for all Veterans, National Guardsmen, reserve, and active military parents with children 0 -17 years interested in cultivating and understanding their parenting style. Classes include take-home resources, skills, and techniques during each session.
During each session, our goal is to:
- Build strong, healthy relationships
- Provide positive change for problem behaviors
- Prepare for school achievement
- Reduce family stress

Endeavors‘ Providing Sustainable Hope (PSH) program provides permanent supportive housing to chronically homeless adults who have a disabling condition. This can include mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, or substance abuse disorders.
Who We Serve
- This program can serve up to 96 adult individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness and have a disabling condition.
- Referrals must be located in Bexar County; all clients are referred to PSH through the coordinated entry system called Homelink.
Program Goals
- Provide permanent supportive housing and supportive services to single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness and have a disabling condition.
Program Services
- Individuals are connected with housing solutions within Bexar County.
- Residents can access long-term mental health counseling, employment assistance, educational services, life skills training, and basic needs.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors provides high-quality, accessible, and integrated mental health care to veterans and their families, regardless of role, discharge status, or ability to pay.
The Cohen Clinics are Veterans Choice Providers and use evidence-based practices to improve the quality of life for veterans and their families. Services are provided by credentialed staff trained to work specifically with the military population. Veterans and their family members receive services individually and together in the same place, at the same time, with the same treatment team.
More than just mental health care, our Military Family Clinics help veteran families with support and referrals for related needs, including unemployment, housing, finance, and education.

The Cohen Clinics at Endeavors accept all major insurances, including TRICARE, however, we work with clients on a case-by-case basis to ensure any barriers to care are addressed. For those without insurance, care may be available at no cost. CVN is contracted with DoD TRICARE and VA as part of the VA Community Care Network of providers under the VA Mission Act. Endeavors' Youth Resiliency Project (YRP) provides rapid rehousing assistance to self-identified youth and young adults in the Bexar County area. Participants of the YRP participate in our proven housing model, which encourages safe and stable housing to heal from trauma.
Who We Serve
- This program can serve up to 45 youth adults (aged 18-24) or families experiencing homelessness.
- All clients are located in Bexar County and referred to YRP through the coordinated entry system called Homelink.
Program Goals
- Provide unhoused youth, young adults, and their families with rapid re-housing housing and supportive services to gain new skills and prevent eviction.

- Individuals are connected with housing solutions within Bexar County.

Fairweather Lodge not only provides permanent supportive housing, but also case management and life skills training so that individuals with mental illness can achieve a life full of stability, success, and self-sufficiency.

- Increasing self-sufficiency through life-skills training and proper referrals for education and work attainment

- 18 years of age or older.
- Axis I mental health diagnosis from a licensed professional.
- Stable and medication-compliant for at least 30 days.
- Be able to pay a monthly program fee.
- Willing to work, volunteer, or attend school for 15 hours per week.
