Girls on the Run inspires girls of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths, while building a sense of connection in a team setting. At the end of the season, the team completes a 5K together, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and sets a confident mindset into motion.

The Day Treatment Program at One for Autism Academy offers structured, facility based educational and behavioral instruction to children ages 3-21 years old. This is a full day program that employs techniques of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to address the specific needs of each child, whether in the areas of language, social skills, academics, and functional living skills. We employ special education certified teachers, the teachers are highly trained in behavior analysis and employ educational techniques based on their continued staff development with our curriculum specialists.

One For Autism Academy academic services emphasize:

• Coursework that meets district and state curriculum standards
• Small classrooms with low student-to-staff ratios
• Functional academics that relate to independent living skills
• The opportunity to earn credits toward a high school diploma, when possible

One for Autism Academy provides these services by tailoring each student's academic services plan to his or her unique needs through academic assessments, Individual Education Programs (IEP), incidental teaching and Direct Instruction.

We are a fun, competitive summer swim team for kids ages 4-18 years old. Whether your child is a novice or advanced swimmer, they will gain confidence and stroke knowledge with the Alamo Heights Pool Sharks.

We usually have practice daily during the week beginning around Memorial Day.

There will be multiple practice sessions every day. All skill levels will be offered at every practice.

Practices are typically held in the morning with the first practice session starting around 7:00 AM.

Most meets are on Saturdays and are fun for the whole family.

A program of youth sports and recreation, emphasizing friendly competition, team spirit and individual achievement through good sportsmanship modeled after Christian values. It uses sports as an attraction to what Christ and the Catholic church can bring to their lives. All volunteers serve as Youth Ministers within the athletic framework.

Our dual language program follows a 50/50 model focused on biliteracy development. This means that roughly half of instruction is in Spanish and half is in English.

Languages are divided by content area. Math instruction is in English K-5th grade.

All students, K-5th grade receive science and social studies in Spanish to help develop their Spanish literacy. At SMM, students also receive Religion in Spanish. This does not mean students will not learn math content in Spanish or science and social studies content in English. There are other opportunities throughout the day/week for children to learn vocabulary in both languages.

This program is for students at Whittier Middle School.

Early Head Start Child Care Partnership is a new opportunity to support the partnering of Early Head Start Programs with Child Care Providers to expand the number of quality slots for infants and toddlers in San Antonio. Through partnership, Early Head Start grantees partner with center-based and family child care providers who agree to meet Early Head Start Program Performance Standards and Regulations and provide high-quality comprehensive, full-day, full-year services to infants and toddlers from low-income families.

The program provides early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services that enhance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of participating children. In addition, services provide young children ages birth to 36 months, with an array of comprehensive services including health, nutritional, behavioral, and family services.
