Many families have to leave their belongings behind or simply don’t have many when they became homeless. This includes basic kitchen essentials like pots, pans, spatulas, silverware, plates, cutting boards, etc. Think about all the tools you use to prepare a meal each night. Now imagine trying to serve your family with just one pot and one spoon. This is the reality for many families facing homelessness. This is why we need you to help make holiday meals a time for joy rather than stress by donating a recipe in a pot! Consider adding a gift card to purchase fresh ingredients.

The SAMMExpress Donation Station, located on Oblate Drive next door to the Oblate Café, collects and distributes new and used clothing, household items, and furniture & kitchen items that are distributed to clients in all of SAMMinistries programs, including those who are moving into permanent housing.

We collect for our Welcome Home Baskets(given directly to families in our program), our Ongoing Basic Needs(high-demand items that we always need to have in-stock such as toilet paper, etc), and have our Amazon Wishlist which directly ship our most urgent needs.

Click here to see a list of our current needs.

We request that you please donate new items for Welcome Home Baskets.

Please bring all donations inside or ask one of our staff members for help unloading your vehicle. For pick-ups of large furniture and/or more information on items we can and cannot accept, please contact 210.321.5678.
