San Antonio Community Resource Directory
COVID-19 Notice

If you need assistance during this crisis, contact (210) 226-6178 to be screened to receive basic needs through St. Stephen’s CARE Center, and Guadalupe Community Center. Both centers remain open during normal business hours to provide food, clothing, and other self-sufficiency services to those who need us most.

Project Cool is a citywide initiative to provide senior citizens and individuals with disabilities relief from extreme summer temperatures that claim lives and hospitalize hundreds of San Antonians each year. By providing 20-inch box fans as an alternative to air conditioning, Project Cool also reduces utility costs for those living on a fixed income. Project Cool is a collaborative effort of the City of San Antonio (Human Services, Fire Department), the Archdiocese of San Antonio (Catholic Charities), United Way of San Antonio & Bexar County, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and community and corporate partners. Donations of 20-inch box fans can be dropped off at this location Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm.
This program is for seniors (age 60+) and individuals with disabilities who reside in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
