San Antonio Community Resource Directory

We are a faith-based Child Development Center that aims to foster the talents of each young child and give them the foundation to become compassionate learners. Our approach to learning celebrates the connection between cognitive, creative and spiritual development as foundational for each child.

Infants (Beginning at 6 weeks): Infants grow and learn every day. Our nursery program offers a loving and nurturing environment where your infant explores and discovers.

Toddler-Threes: We will help develop your child’s independence and confidence in a setting that encourages a sense of community.

Pre-K: Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten by teaching foundational literacy, math concepts and valuable social skills.

After school: Even after school is out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment.

ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
Spanish: Our toddler and Pre-K children receive a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice and get familiar with the Spanish language. We believe this exposure lays the groundwork for a life-long love of language.

Chapel: This is a sacred time and space that members of the community gather to lift our hearts in prayer. Our children participate in Chapel twice a month and teachers share Bible stories and Christian songs each day. These community building activities are special opportunities for children to worship and grow in faith.

Music and Movement: Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Our musical experiences offer children exposure which stimulates and supports musical growth and motor development. Learning never sounded so good!

Sign Language: Teaching sign language improves cognitive and emotional development. We introduce sign language as an element of curriculum for each age group. This opportunity increases the rate of verbal development and has implications on future academic achievement.

Food and Nutrition Program: We know that proper nutrition promotes learning readiness and reinforces positive eating habits that can last a lifetime. We are committed to serving nutritious food in a positive, health-conscious environment. We offer well balanced meals for every child! Our Food Manager and Certified cooks prepare and serve healthy nutritious meals within the guidelines of the CACFP Food Program.

Summer Program: For 5 to 12 year olds enrolled in school, field trips, water play activities, STEM, Arts and Crafts, Literacy, Theater, recreational activities, team-building activities, chapel services, and leadership development for a fun filled and educational experience.
