San Antonio Community Resource Directory

To enhance veterans' well-being, NVOP initiated the Veterans & Family Wellness Program, securing critical mental health services and ensuring veterans, dependents, and surviving spouses have accessible counseling options.

With generous support from the Texas Veterans Commission, the Texas Department of Health & Human Services, and the City of San Antonio, the Veterans & Family Wellness Program (VFWP) extends sliding-scale counseling services to all Texas counties. Additionally, we provide peer services, and soon, mental health services for non-veterans will be available.

The Veteran and Family Wellness Program provides counseling (individual, group, marriage & family) and Peer support services to Veterans, Veteran dependents, and surviving spouses, including via telehealth and after-hours appointments. Interested? Speak to your local NVOP office for a referral to our sliding scale services. Community Partners: ask about joining the VFWP mental health collaborative!
