Jam in the Box kits allows you to bring our Community Code Jam to your school or community. A Community Code Jam is a hands-on workshop bringing together students, parents, and volunteer programmers to learn and grow with code. Imagine all of your students with their adults, elbow to elbow, in person, or a virtual environment as they solve super fun coding challenges and real-world problems.

We're excited to share our Jam in Box kits with schools, libraries, and after-school programs. Each box includes everything you need for an engaging and impactful family engagement event centered around coding for 250+ participants, online or in-person. And all of our coding activities and instructions have been translated into Spanish!

Application requirements: - Two educators (teachers/librarians) willing to spearhead the project and attend two virtual teacher professional development workshops - CPE credits included. - Commitment to host an in-person Jam in a Box event before the end of 2024, along with administrator support. - Agreement to use our surveys and return the data requested. Application must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm on May 12, 2024. *Youth Code Jam is a TEA-approved provider of CPE #902-492.
