Garden of Eatin' believes everyone deserves access to healthy, nutritious food, and we do our best to help meet that need through our Community Food Truck.

Volunteering with Garden of Eatin’ is similar to volunteering in a soup kitchen, or working in a small commercial kitchen. Serving the public in need.

Attire requirements:

  • A long- or short-sleeved shirt
  • Non-slip, close-toed shoes
  • Hair restraint and hat

You do NOT need a food handler license to serve as a volunteer.

Other in-kind donations:

  • water bottles
  • Gatorade and similar sports drinks
  • 38oz rectangular meal containers (like these at HEB)
  • disposable forks
  • brown paper lunch bags
  • sandwich baggies
  • individual hand wipes
  • gift cards
