Friendship Is the New Pretty 2, Inc promotes selfless service by giving back to women and children that are less fortunate through community service projects, empowerment, and promoting positivity amongst all members while making lifelong friends.
The focus is on helping others see that there is hope beyond their current situation.
Apartment Starter Baskets provides single mothers making a fresh start with a basket of necessities that includes the following:
- laundry basket
- mop
- broom
- dustpan
- dish soap
- laundry detergent
- bleach
- two pillows
- two pillowcases
- sheet set
- blanket
The Emergency Cash Assistance program provides cash assistance of up to $250 to allow single mothers to buy groceries and essentials and pay utility bills, etc. (When funds are available)
This program is for single mothers.
This veteran peer support group is to help build a network of friends and intimate relationships, thereby creating a strong social support system for women that share the common bond of military service.
Positive social connections increase self-esteem and feelings of self-worth. Self-esteem and self-worth are critical to self-love.
