AlamoCare Health Services (Business )

AlamoCare is designed to meet the needs of adults with functional impairments by offering a fun, protective setting to promote social and health-related well-being services through an individual plan of care.

Our center is designed to keep individuals living in their homes while relieving the caregivers of daytime duties and ensuring that their loved ones still receive proper care in a safe and friendly environment. This cost-effective long-term care alternative also allows both families and those we serve the opportunity to maintain normal daily schedules.

Our team includes an RN consultant, LVN, nutritionist, dietitian, and cook.

Our clients are fed breakfast, lunch, and a snack; socialize; and take part in activities that include bingo, arts and crafts, exercise, and more.

This trusted adult daycare service is a Medicaid Certified Facility and is fully licensed by The Texas Department of Aging and Disability.

The team at AlamoCare Adult Activity Center invites seniors and adults with functional impairments to enjoy a vibrant social environment. Clients spend their days participating in engaging activities like pool, ring toss, and other guided games. On select days, they go on local outings, including trips to the movies, bowling alleys, and restaurants. Entertainment options also include bingo, dancing, Bible study, and arts and crafts.

AlamoCare provides nutritious, home-cooked meals for breakfast and lunch, along with healthy snacks. The kitchen staff is attentive to dietary needs, such as food allergies and medical conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, ensuring a safe dining experience.

Transportation to and from the facility is free. Clients can be dropped off by family members, use the center's transportation services, or ride VIA Trans. Staff members are available to assist with VIA Trans applications if needed.

Each day begins with clients arriving in the morning and enjoying breakfast with their choice of milk, coffee, or juice while watching the news and socializing. Afterward, they can play bingo, participate in arts and crafts, or relax in groups.

Midday activities include guided exercises followed by a lively dance party, showcasing the positive mental benefits of music. After enjoying a home-cooked lunch, clients often take a stroll on the secure, tree-covered patio.
