SACVF can help by providing training or briefs to your group, company, or program on key Veteran issues and how you can help.

Just email us at [email protected] for more information.

Military families usually live on a very tight budget, so putting together a Christmas or other winter holiday celebration can be a challenge.

The goal in helping these military families is to show America’s gratitude with presents for the children and a grocery gift card or prepaid Visa gift card for them to purchase their holiday dinner and trimmings.

The Soldiers’ Angels Sewing and Crafting Team provides lovingly created handmade pieces of comfort and support to veterans, deployed service members and their families.

Whether a Team Angel is an expert seamstress or a casual hobbyist, there is an opportunity to meet the needs of our troops on the Sewing and Crafting Team. Many Sewing and Crafting Team Angels rely on their personal talents and skill sets to knit, sew, crochet and quilt their gifts of support.

For those less experienced, no-sew blankets provide an opportunity to become more involved. These handmade items are then distributed within the military community to active duty service members, expectant military families and in VA hospitals around the country.

The Women of Valor program focuses on the female caregivers of post-9/11 wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans. (The caregivers may be the wife, girlfriend, mother, or another female relative of the wounded hero.)

Our team of Angels focuses on giving support, encouragement, and Angel love to women in the program.

Soldiers’ Angels will provide educational and other reference materials to the caregivers, selected by experts in the field. This, paired with the Team Angel support, results in a comprehensive program and provides a well-rounded team to walk alongside these incredible ladies during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Team Angels will provide ongoing support throughout the year for each caregiver, adhering to the specific dates of significance based on their individual support requests.

Veterans helping veterans is a Ministry, found it at true Vision Church, that brings veterans within the surrounding communities together for Fellowship to collaborate and share information on Veteran Affairs, claims and benefits. This ministry assists in providing meaningful insight about underutilized resources made available by the Department of Veterans Affairs to our country’s veterans.

Along with collaborative information shared during the fellowship, guests from different agencies of the Veterans Affairs Community will provide representations of the latest issues concerning veterans. VHV is not staffed with the Department of Veterans Affairs trained or certified Personnel therefore we do not advise veterans on how to file Veterans Affairs claims. Through Ministry we encourage our fellow veterans, provide information of where are some resources entitled to them can be obtained, and pray with them while they journey through their post military years.

Wounded and Injured in the Line of Duty

When one of our Green Berets is wounded or injured in the line of duty, we send them and their family a $2,500 check and essential gear for a temporary hospital stay that is packed in a Special Forces-grade, durable, and versatile GORUCK GR1 backpack. These packs are generously donated by GORUCK, a Special Forces Veteran-owned business.

We ensure that key family members are at the soldier’s bedside. We provide financial support for family members’ travel not covered by the Army and support for other family needs such as child care, pet kenneling, and fuel cards. We will also help ship privately owned vehicles to the military treatment facility if required.

Casualty Support Process:

1. US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Care Coalition submits a Casualty Support request to the Green Beret Foundation.

2. Green Beret Foundation receives and reviews the request.

3. Green Beret Foundation sends a $2500 check in a rucksack filled with essential gear for a temporary hospital stay.
