Recognizing gaps in immediate support to and in the continuity of care for injured Green Berets, Aaron Anderson, himself a Special Forces Warrior wounded in battle, founded the Green Beret Foundation in 2009.

For eleven years, the Foundation has grown significantly in terms of size, support from the community, and most importantly, in impact. We have provided direct assistance to nearly 13,000 Green Berets and their families as they navigate the challenges of their new lives, and have invested 87 cents of every dollar raised back to the Green Beret community.

While the GBF will continue to focus on our wounded, their families, and the families of our fallen, we are working to broaden our impact into addressing the needs of Green Berets as they transition back into civilian life.

San Antonio, TX is a vibrant South Texas city with a diverse population from many nations, speaking various languages. The Telugu community in San Antonio is one of the larger sub-communities from India. The earliest known Telugu resident of San Antonio is Prof. PN Rao, who moved here in the ‘60s. San Antonio was then a distant outpost with few Indians and no Indian restaurants or stores. The Telugu community has since grown to more than 250 households (including singles and families.)

Our behavior therapists and technicians work closely with our BCBAs to deliver 1:1 direct therapy for your child. Our therapists and technicians have significant experience working with children, undergo a minimum of 40 hours of initial training, and continue to receive ongoing training and supervision from our BCBAs.

1HOPE for Kids (formerly 4KIDS of South Texas) is a Foster Care and Adoption agency in Bexar and surrounding counties, training, licensing, and supporting Christian families.

Through 1HOPE’s training and verification of families, we are able to place children in safe, loving homes. 1HOPE feels called to provide foster care services to kids in crisis by:
- Recruiting, training, and verifying foster families
- Facilitating excellent matches of children and families
- Providing continuing education and support for foster families
- Helping develop care communities to support each 1HOPE foster family
- Assisting area churches in developing Foster/Adopt Ministries

The Little Church with the Big Heart.

This Redeemed Life was founded in 2007 as Redeemed Girl Ministries by Marian Jordan Ellis. Her story of how Jesus rescued her from a life of emptiness echoes through all we do at TRL. Marian was an active Bible study teacher in her local church when she sensed the call to reach women who would normally never set foot in a church. Marian, a redeemed girl herself, is passionate that others experience the same life she discovered in Jesus Christ.

We are a diverse congregation of around 120. We formed as a church in 2017. We believe that the church is a family of people who pursue God together and we reach out to those around us. We place a high emphasis on loving and serving our community together.

We have a vibrant children's ministry and small group ministry. Our small groups (Missional Communities) meet weekly to do life together and to engage our community with the Gospel. We partner a lot with the YMCA to meet the needs of our community.
