Stephen Ministers receive support through supervision, continuing education, and coaching on a monthly basis.

At Esperanza Eating Disorders Center, our goal is to provide a supportive, empowering environment for eating disorder recovery.

Our team of experienced, multidisciplinary clinicians utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches to provide individuals with a wide range of skills and healthy coping behaviors to guide them to a life of fulfilling recovery. As a locally-owned facility, Esperanza is able to provide individualized care plans that are both effective and flexible.

Our cornerstone philosophy is Recovery by Doing. Patients do not just hear about what to do, they get hands-on experience doing recovery. Integrative therapies as well as grocery shopping, cooking and plating their own meals, and activities like restaurant outings are all part of our hands-on approach to healing.

Eating disorders are often accompanied by other mental illnesses including trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, and personality disorders. At Esperanza, our focus is not just the eating disorder. Our team is committed to guiding patients to better mental, spiritual, and physical health through addressing the underlying causes of the eating disorder and any associated mental illnesses.

Welcome to The Door Christian Fellowship Church! We are a church of ordinary and common people on a journey together to better understand, follow, and relate to an extraordinary God. Grace First Baptist Church was originally organized on June 6,1975, by Rev. Linwood F. Russ with three family members; wife, Blanche A. Russ, son, Linwood and daughter, Audrey.

Spiritual growth has led to an increase in membership to over 900 plus members and attendees. Rev. Ford, led by the Holy Spirit, continues to preach and teach the word of God so that we can "Building Strong Families through the Word of God.”

We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord's Table as God has welcomed us.

Church service times and schedules vary from congregation to congregation. Please call for specific times. All church meetings follow the same 2-hour format: one main meeting for everyone and one other class separated by age groups or general interests.

The Arc of San Antonio offers one of the largest continuum of services for children and adults with a broad range of developmental abilities.

The Arc serves as a gateway to community services for many individuals and families seeking assistance for the first time. We provide a continuing source of information, referral and support during times of transition or crisis.

We are an affiliate of The Arc of the United States.

Our Mission: To enhance the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families. We fulfill this mission through direct care and case management services for individuals with a broad range of intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Our vision: To provide quality, innovative services offered by a committed and competent staff and a dedicated team of volunteers. The Arc will be the provider of choice for day services for individuals with I/DD and for assistance and case management services to families seeking guidance, direction, and access to needed services in the San Antonio area. The Arc strives to be a social service home to all those with special needs and to readily assist families during all phases of life.

Our Doctors provide a variety of services including but not limited to Medication Management, Genetic Testing, and Treatment of Opioid Dependence.

Psychiatrists are medical doctors (MD's or DO's) certified in treating mental illness using a biomedical approach to mental disorders. They are available to prescribe medications. Psychiatrists do not typically provide psychotherapy or counseling, although they are trained to conduct psychotherapy.

Psychotherapists are master-level practitioners (licensed clinical social workers and licensed professional counselors) who are not medical doctors but are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with psychiatric disorders. They provide individual psychotherapy.

A place for people of all abilities to play. It is the world’s first theme park designed for people of all ages and all abilities. There is truly something for everyone, from a wheelchair-accessible Ferris wheel to catch-and-release fishing.

Morgan’s Inspiration Island is a revolutionary splash park that is built accessibility-first. This tropical island paradise has colorful splash pads, waterproof wheelchairs, warm water activities, and more to accommodate all kinds of visitors and their needs. 

Morgan’s Wonderland Camp is an Ultra-Accessible™ camp for everyone with a particular emphasis on giving people with physical and developmental disabilities an opportunity to enjoy summer-camp-type activities alongside guests without special needs.

Morgan’s Wonderland Sports is a place where everyone can play sports! Our 3-acre Ultra-Accessible™  sports center offers fitness and fun for athletes of all ages and all abilities.

The Multi-Assistance Center at Morgan’s Wonderland™, or The MAC, is a center that improves the lives of individuals with disabilities and special needs through comprehensive and coordinated services. 

Community Based Instruction, Students can enjoy four 25-minute lesson rotations throughout the park, all while embracing the mission of Morgan’s Wonderland – inclusion. Our lessons were created in conjunction with Regions 1-20 Education Service Centers and Texas Education Agency. As a result, teachers will not lose teaching days when their classes are engaged in this educational experience.

Club Morgan is a group-based program for members to create social, recreational, and inclusive opportunities for individuals of all abilities who are 16 or older. Members will form friendships while participating in a variety of activities including creative arts, culture, sports, outdoor recreation, and more. 

Coffee and Conversation is an opportunity to meet friendly local parents for quality time on the Wharf. Enjoy complimentary coffee along with catch-and-release fishing and interactive activities for the whole family!

What is Memory Matters? The purpose of this program is to engage individuals with ADRD (Alzheimer’s disease-related dementias) in stress management activities led by Morgan’s Wonderland. Caregivers of these individuals will engage in a series of educational sessions presented by the Alzheimer’s Association designed to educate the caregivers in topics related to the disease, discuss issues commonly encountered in caregiving, and how to address those. Each session will offer stress management activities for all participants. Caregivers may attend as many sessions as they would like. This free program will be offered in-person at Morgan’s Wonderland and also on the Zoom platform.

First of all, come as you are. Jeans are completley acceptable.  Please park in the lot in front of the church.  We are currently in the process of making reserved parking for our guest. Our Children's Ministry will take good care of your children.There will be a volunteer at the door to greet you and help you get everything you need to make your visit enjoyable and meaningful. All of our staff and volunteers are background checked . All of our staff is CPR Certified.  

GOD is one God in three persons Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier. The bible is the Word of God, God’s truth, and it shows God in action. It is the only true standard by which teaching and doctrines are judged. Jesus Christ, the Savior, died to save the world from sin. A person can be saved, not by his or her own merits, but only by God’s grace, God’s mercy, loving and kindness. The teachings of the church are found in Luther’s Small Catechism, the Augsburg Confessions, and other confessional documents in the Book of Concord.
