Food Pantry near
Outreach Ministry is out parish’s food bank. The Outreach Ministry’s mission is to help persons in need by providing food, clothing, and sometimes financial assistance in emergency situations. The society collects food at the back of the church and at the rectory.
To volunteer your time and efforts, contact the Outreach Ministry’s Office at (210) 243-4475.
We are a once-a-month food pantry serving Greater Northwest San Antonio.
Currently, we do not have sufficient funds to offer material assistance other than food. If you need assistance other than food or know someone in need, contact us by email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Eligibility is based on self-attested need, but applicants:

- Must schedule an appointment. Appointments can be made here or by phone Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Must submit a "shopping list" of requested food items.

The program offers between 35-45 lbs of perishable/non-perishable food. Exact contents vary, though items selected would include fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable produce, proteins, dairy, grains, peanut butter or beans.

Criteria for Project HOPE:
Age qualification:
The seniors must be 60 years of age and older and be within 185% of the federal poverty guidelines to participate in the program. All participants must reside within Bexar County. Each qualifying senior in a household can sign up separately to receive the program.

- Proof of income (SSI award letter or current paystubs)
