San Antonio Public Library locations have resumed normal service every day of the week.

- Free Wi-Fi is available outside of 28 of its 30 locations daily from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM in an effort to serve those who do not have reliable broadband internet access at home. (The two exceptions are the Pruitt Branch Library and Briscoe Portal at the Briscoe Western Art Museum.)

Eligibility requirements:
- Be 19 years of age or older, must present valid government-issued identification, and attend registration and orientation.
- Individuals 17 and 18 must contact the Office of Southwest ISD Community Education for more information before registering.

Gii offers refugees and political asylees opportunities to obtain job training, education assistance, and language proficiency training. Our services include:
For adults, Gii provides TOEFL training to fluent English speakers who want to teach English to Afghan refugees. In addition to providing newly arrived Afghans with English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, GII also assists with the test preparation for the CDL exam, professional training for fields such as customer service, and other fast-track job readiness training. To boost a sense of familiar home life, Gii also supports a cooking program, sewing and quilting program, and gardening club (through access to a local community garden).
For youth, Gii provides mentoring and tutoring/homework study sessions.

o parent or guardian permission (must be present at the time of enrollment)

ESL For the Big Bend started in 2008. We now offer tutoring for ESL, TOEFL, GED, and Citizenship classes. One-on-one tutoring and group sessions are available. HSE classes are offered several times each year. APL is also a testing site for Pearson Vue. Many certifications as well as HSE are available.
