Our mission at Life Restored Church is to reach lives and restore hope through Jesus Christ. We believe in going out and reaching the lives that are less fortunate, dehumanized and marginalized and restoring the hope that is truly theirs in Christ.
At Life Restored Church, we believe that ministering to the poor is not supposed to be just an outreach, but the very DNA and culture of the Church. We are homeless and housed individuals and families in equal proportion and on equal footing. We love each other with the love of Christ.
Our vision is to become a 24/7 church that never closes its doors and a lighthouse to our city. We will be a place that meets every need that our society and loved ones have every day at every hour of the day. We will restore people who are homeless, addicted and hopeless and place them back into society transforming them to be who Christ died for them to be.
We make it easy for people to get connected and involved with each other no matter what age or background.
We exist to create an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and truth.
We’d like for you to become a regular part of our worship community.

Today, the Alamo Chapter is growing and continues the original mission to increase knowledge and provide current information to its members. SAISD is as diverse and historically rich as the city whose name it shares. As San Antonio’s founding school district, SAISD neighborhood schools have served the heart of the Alamo City for more than 100 years. Today, SAISD serves about 49,000 students across more than 90 schools in our culturally proud, urban community.
We offer a wide variety of programs, including dual-language, career exploration and college preparation. Along with traditional school models, we also offer academies comprising non-traditional grade ranges such as PK-8.
True to our roots, SAISD continues to pave the way in San Antonio with the city’s only public Montessori school, single-gender campuses, and K-12 International Baccalaureate framework. Additionally, the District launched the city’s first P-TECH program just this school year.
Outside of the traditional classroom, the spirit of SAISD can be found in programs and activities from extensive athletics to fine arts – including a mariachi curriculum that was pioneered in our District before being modeled across the nation.
From forward-thinking academic and extracurricular programs at our neighborhood schools to a growing list of specialized schools, SAISD students can customize their own educational experience and find what truly drives them. Every student has a journey, and SAISD is supporting that path wherever it may lead to each of its students.

We believe everyone can find their home at San Pedro Church of Christ. We understand that visiting a new church for the first time can be an intimidating and uncomfortable experience. When you walk through our doors you are greeted as family. Our worship adheres to the desires of our Creator as found in His Holy and Inspired Word, the Bible. Come join us this Sunday as we spend time in study and worship to our Father in Heaven.
We are a bilingual congregation.
In grateful response to God’s grace and empowered by the Holy Spirit through Word and Sacraments, the mission of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod is vigorously to make known the love of Christ by word and deed within our churches, communities, and the world.
With the universal Christian Church, The Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.
The teachings of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases:
Grace Alone - God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
Scripture Alone - The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
Faith Alone - By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
