BioTechs is a professional, family-owned, cleanup company.

We can help you by taking on the burden of erasing the tragedy of a suicide, homicide, or trauma scene so that you can remember the beautiful memories and focus on what’s most important right now–you and your family.

Our team is made up of mostly active and retired firefighters and police officers. These are compassionate souls who have spent the majority of their lives putting other lives first. Their experience adds an extra layer of care, attention to detail, and empathy, which are all traits that we embody here at BioTechs.

Open 24 hours a day.

Visitation House Ministries (Nonprofit / Christian )

Visitation House Ministries (VHM) enables mothers and their children to live in safety and security and provides supportive services to those who are experiencing homelessness or at risk.

The majority of homeless families are headed by young, single women with children. Life is difficult for these families. We aim to educate and empower these women and children by providing safe, stable housing and access to educational resources.

We Serve in Three Ways:

  • The first is Education integrated with a subsidized transitional housing program - For single mothers with young children who are experiencing homelessness or near homelessness. Families live separately in their transitional housing apartments while the moms pursue their education goals and learn life skills.
  • The second is Education for the children - An afterschool tutoring program, child specific learning, play zones, birthday parties, holiday celebrations, field trips and summer programs.
  • The third is Education for the Community - Outreach education services for women with limited education from the San Antonio Area.

Welcome to Travis Early College High School, a tuition-free school located within the San Antonio Independent School District that puts you on the fast track to college. If you are goal-oriented and can see a college education in your future, then you are in the right place.

Travis students become college students starting in their freshman year of high school when they begin taking basics at neighboring San Antonio College (SAC), our program partner. During their four years here, students take rigorous courses that earn them a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit. This approach saves students and their families a significant amount of money, and it gives students valuable exposure to campus life, making for a smoother transition between high school and higher education.

Any student in Bexar County who meets the admission criteria may apply to attend Travis.

At Travis, we seek to educate students with diverse academic backgrounds, not just those who were at the top of their middle school classes. We believe that hard work and determination, combined with a strong support network provided by the school, lead to success for our students. The fact that our school was rated Exemplary by the Texas Education Agency each year since the agency began rating us is a testament to our program and our students’ success.

We come from hundreds of ethnic and language backgrounds, yet we are united by common goals. Above all, we want to honor Jehovah, the God of the Bible and the Creator of all things. We do our best to imitate Jesus Christ and are proud to be called Christians. Each of us regularly spends time helping people learn about the Bible and God’s Kingdom. Because we witness, or talk, about Jehovah God and his Kingdom, we are known as Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Ebenezer Baptist Church (Faith / Christian )

Ebenezer Baptist Church is a Spanish-speaking Baptist church in San Antonio's historic Beacon Hill neighborhood.

Your Journey. Our Mission.

Since our founding in 1881 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, we have paved new ways for tens of thousands of students to reach their academic dreams. UIW was the first institution to offer higher education for women in central and south Texas, consistently ranks among the top schools for veterans, and ranks No. 1 in the nation among faith-based universities graduating Hispanic students with bachelor’s degrees. As pioneers in Catholic higher education, we continue to forge new roads for every student to reach their full potential and create positive change in the world. UIW is a proud Hispanic Serving Institution.

We at MCCSA are moved by the Spirit of God and the spirit of our congregation here in San Antonio.

Our mission is to hold a space where fellowship, worship, and faith can be practiced and enjoyed by all. Our belief is that God's Love is for everyone.

We are a LGBTQ affirming church.

We offer a weekly food pantry. We also offer a space for a woman's group, AA and other smaller outreach programs.

Through a passion for health and cutting-edge diagnostic testing, Institute for Functional Health has designed the most effective wellness program.

At its core, Functional Medicine is about understanding that every body is different. You are an individual and your health is the combination of your genetics and all the inputs your body has experienced over your life, from the food that you eat to the medicines you have taken to the natural environment where you live.

The concepts behind functional medicine have been around for over a century and were often clouded in the nuance of holistic medicine. But an increase in research dollars and the advent of cutting-edge technology to dissect and map human DNA have created a renaissance in health care.

No longer are you relegated to the same old cycle of medication after medication. We now have the technology and the data to transform your body with customized health care.

That is exactly what we are doing here at the Institute for Functional Health.
