Drug addiction or alcoholism can take a toll on your body, life, and loved ones. However, simply quitting drugs or alcohol is not an easy process. Withdrawal symptoms can start immediately, leaving many with alcoholism addiction defenseless as they try to start the journey to recovery. This is especially true now more than ever with the growing concern as prescription drug abuse and opiate addiction sweeps across the United States.

In response to this, Warriors Heart has established a Warriors Heart Detox Center to help treat a variety of first responders and military members who wish to rid themselves of their addictions. By doing this we hope to provide help to those who so selflessly help protect our freedom and security as they reclaim their lives back.

Substances and addictions treated at Warriors Heart:

  • Alcoholism
  • Cocaine addiction
  • Heroin addiction
  • Opiate addiction
  • Prescription drug abuse
  • Meth addiction
  • PCP addiction

We only treat active military, veterans, firefighters, police, EMTs, and active members from across the United States who belong to organizations that protect and serve the citizens of the United States.

Warriors Heart accepts a wide variety of insurance including BlueCross, Aetna, and Cigna, among many others.

Warriors Heart Sober Living is a community of men and women who share a common desire to stay clean and sober. The sober living program was designed to provide a step-down level of care to warriors who have completed an inpatient program or have at least 42 days of continuous sobriety.

Research done by the National Institute of Health has found that individuals who live in a sober living home have better long-term outcomes than those of people who don’t have access to an environment that supports sustained recovery.

We only treat active military, veterans, firefighters, police, EMTs, and active members from across the United States that belong to organizations that protect and serve the citizens of the United States.

  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
  • Mindfulness practices
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Motivational interviewing
  • Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)

Medical detoxification services are available on-site, allowing you or your loved one to rid your body of drugs or alcohol in a safe environment with as little discomfort as possible. Our medical staff monitors you or your loved one throughout the detox process, and you are welcome to attend any programming you feel able to during this time. However, we do restrict outdoor activities until our clients complete detox.

During your time in residential care at our facility in Center Point, Texas, our medical staff will monitor your basic health needs. If our expert team determines that you may benefit from medication as part of your care at Starlite Recovery Center, you may also meet with a psychiatrist as needed.

Our master’s-level clinicians lead multiple group therapy sessions each day that address a variety of issues and topics, including relapse prevention, grief and loss, mindfulness, and Seeking Safety. You or your loved one may also participate in individual therapy up to two times a week depending on the needs identified in your personalized care plan. We also offer weekly family therapy sessions either in person or over the phone to help our clients begin to repair their bonds with their loved ones and form healthier connections with their families.

Starlite Recovery Center provides residential care to military Veterans of all genders age 18 and older who have a primary substance use disorder diagnosis.
