Residential treatment

Our residential treatment facility provides a supportive and safe environment where women can heal from that pain in which life has brought.

Our focus on EMDR trauma therapy helps women learn lifelong coping skills, while changing negative beliefs and negative core beliefs. You are not alone on this journey, so we walk with you every step of the way.

Every group is designed to treat commonly seen symptoms of PTSD and trauma, such as nightmares, trust issues, shame, and relationship issues. You will leave with critical skills to help you begin your next chapter.

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
CPT is for people who have been experiencing distressing and disruptive thoughts/feelings after experiencing a traumatic event.
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy combines acceptance of painful feelings with change to find balance.
  • Substance Abuse (Seeking Safety)
Seeking Safety is a therapeutic program designed to help women suffering from trauma, substance abuse, and/or posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
  • Shame Resilience
Shame Resilience Theory (SRT) is a response to working with shame and provides a potential treatment method by connecting individuals with similar experiences, allowing for connection and empathy.

Our goal is to offer a bright future to each child and adolescent in our care by instilling hope, courage and resiliency long after treatment is complete.

Behavioral health issues in children and adolescents are real, and they impact the entire family; a child in crisis is a family in crisis. Laurel Ridge Treatment Center offers separate, specialized, comprehensive programs tailored specifically for children and adolescents with psychiatric issues. Levels of care include intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, and acute inpatient care.

Our adolescent populations are separated by developmental age and are based on their specific treatment needs, while our child program is for those 12 and under. In addition to addressing mental health and emotional disorders, these programs are also effective for dealing with a history of self-injury, anxiety, eating disorders and anger.

Our treatment programs for children and adolescents involves multi-level continuum care. A multi-disciplinary treatment team conducts group and individual therapy for medication management, parent education program, suicide prevention, mood disorders, psychological trauma, self-injurious behavior and anger management.

We accept all major insurances.

CBC wants all of our members and guests to have access to the many large events and small groups offered throughout the week. Axcess works with ministries so that children, youth and adults with special needs can participate at CBC, both through inclusion and specially designed activities.

Axcess
Our special needs ministry is built on the belief that Jesus desires a personal relationship with all his children, regardless of their abilities. We have created a program to appropriately accommodate and differentiate student learning. Inclusion allows us to collaborate with other ministries to plan for small groups, large groups, and individual needs. We desire to partner with parents and staff to develop a plan for each participant in the church setting.

Models in Axcess
We have two models in Axcess.

The first is inclusion for all ministries where members are given a buddy to partner with alongside their peers in various environments around campus.

The second option is our sensory safe classrooms. These rooms are self-contained and allow for specialized and specific care for those with moderate to severe needs.

Transition Bible Study
Axcess also holds a transition bible study (ages 14+) on Sunday mornings at 10AM. This serves our older members who want to develop a better understanding and personal relationship with the body of Christ.

The Landing is Celebrate Recovery’s student ministry. This curriculum is designed to mirror the same material as the adult Celebrate Recovery (CR) curriculum, only designed for students.

The Landing provides a safe place for students to process life and the struggles that accompany it, provides tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and points them toward the freedom found in Jesus Christ.

A typical night in the Landing will consist of a student’s connection with the leaders, God, Biblical truths, recovery principles, and fellowship with each other. Ultimately, The Landing can help students learn how to break cycles of dysfunction and provide tools for them to live free and healthy lives.

CR for students is geared towards Jr. High and High School age students, 12-18 years of age.
