The Hope Lutheran Kid's Day Out program has been serving the community parents and children for over forty years. We provide quality loving Christian care and teaching to children from ages three months through five years.
Our KDO classes have helped many young children to develop:
- Social skills, such as how to share and self discipline
- Small motor skills, such as how to color, cut, and glue
- Large motor skills, like hopping or skipping to a song
- Number and alphabet recognition.
- Color and shape recognition
- Many more topics are discussed each month
The children do fun activities that help them learn through stories, art, songs, games, and free play.
Ages: 3 months - 5 years.

Notice
San Antonio Public Library locations have resumed normal service every day of the week.
- Contact-Free Pickup and free outdoor WiFi remain available.
- Click here for hours and other details.
- Free Wi-Fi is available outside of 28 of its 30 locations daily from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM in an effort to serve those who do not have reliable broadband internet access at home. (The two exceptions are the Pruitt Branch Library and Briscoe Portal at the Briscoe Western Art Museum.)
- Texana/Genealogy services are still available only by phone, email, or through Ask MySAPL.
The Molly Pruitt Library at Roosevelt High School is the only dual-use school and public library in central Texas. Made possible by an agreement between the North East Independent School District (NEISD) and the City of San Antonio, the library serves students at Roosevelt High School while also providing resources and programming to the community. The library is open year-round.
Pruitt Library patrons have access to both San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) and Roosevelt High School books. SAPL books may be returned to any public library branch in San Antonio. However, Roosevelt HS books must be returned to the Roosevelt HS Library (that is, Pruitt Library). Also, because we are located at a school, by state mandate library visitors during school hours must present their photo ID before entry.
Parking & Directions
The Molly Pruitt library is located in north east San Antonio on the campus of Roosevelt High School, but is open to the public.
From Walzem Road about four blocks south of I-35, turn onto Ray Bon Drive and take the first driveway on your right. The library’s entrance is in front of you, off the circle drive just left of the big glass windows. Patron parking is in the numbered spaces next to the sidewalk by the flagpoles.
