Promote Animal Welfare Education, PAWedu is unique in that it educates adults who have been accused, charged, or convicted of cruelty to an animal.

This 14-lesson online course teaches adults about the humane treatment and care of animals. It also helps them examine some of their own thoughts and reactions that might not be appropriate.

Lessons include Forms of Animal Cruelty—abandonment, Animal Fighting, Causing Unnecessary Suffering, and The Link between Animal Cruelty and Human Cruelty.

The course incorporates an educational or rehabilitative component into offenders' legal process if ordered by a court.
