Give Food

Food donations are critical to the ongoing mission of collecting and redistributing millions of pounds of food to individuals and families in Southwest Texas who don’t know where their next meals are coming from. By donating today, you’ll be helping a network of 58,000 individuals we serve weekly.

Give Time

Fighting Hunger doesn’t always start with a meal. It starts with those who serve. The San Antonio Food Bank’s volunteer opportunities range from our sorting room, warehouse, garden and farm areas, our community kitchen, and even our off-site community kitchen at Haven for Hope. Whether you’re an individual, group, or company there are many opportunities to volunteer.

Advocate

As part of our mission, we lead hunger and poverty advocacy efforts in San Antonio and Southwest Texas. The San Antonio Food Bank Government Relations team works with our state and national colleagues to educate public officials in our 16-county service area about the impact of food insecurity in our communities and to identify policy solutions to help put families on the road to health. Mobilizing state and federal lawmakers to support legislative solutions for hunger relief is a critical part of our work.  Advocate with us. Together we can solve hunger.
