Eligibility Requirements:

  • 18 years or older when applying for the program
  • Have a valid photo ID
  • Have not earned an associate degree or higher
  • Willing to take assessments related to barriers, academics, skills aptitude, and workplace readiness
  • Committed to completing the program

The training is at no cost to the student; however, attendance is a top priority to succeed and we hold students accountable for attendance.

You may also be eligible to receive additional funding support through Ready to Work if you:

  • are a San Antonio resident (Click here and enter your street address to determine if you are a resident of the City of San Antonio. If the Council District is 0, you do not live in the City of San Antonio and are not eligible for this program.)
  • have an annual household income of less than 250% of the federal poverty guidelines

Eligibility will be verified during the application process and requires supporting documentation.
