Our goal is to provide a safe, friendly, and interesting place where our senior citizens can come and spend some time with other seniors. New friendships have been made and some old friendships have been renewed.

Various activities are sponsored by St. Matthew Parish during the morning hours. The City of San Antonio, Department of Human Services, Senior Services Division, provides the center members with a nutritious lunch.

Membership is available to any senior who is 60 years of age or older.

Our Senior Center is not capable of caring for those seniors with special needs. Members of St. Matthew Senior Center need to be able to participate in the activities of the Senior Center without requiring specialized attention to their needs.
