Catholic Charities can help with basic needs while you work toward self-sufficiency. St. Stephen’s CARE Center provides Compassion, Aid, Respect, and Empowerment to those who need us most.

Food Pantry Individuals and families in need of food are offered bundles of non-perishable food items which can last up to two weeks. Clients are also offered recipes for provisions in order to maximize the use of their food bundle. In the event an individual who is homeless seeks food from the Food Pantry, they are offered foods sensitive to their situation. (For food assistance, please schedule an appointment with a case manager at (210) 226-6178.)

Clothes Closet Individuals and families in need of clothing may visit our on-site Clothes Closet. The clothes, shoes, and accessories are organized by clothing type, color, and size. In addition, basic household items such as plates, cups, and cookware are also offered.

St Stephen's Care Center also serves as a Texas Diaper Bank distribution point.
