San Antonio Community Resource Directory
St Brigid Catholic Church (Faith / Christian )

St. Brigid Catholic Community, as part of the Archdiocese of San Antonio, is here so that the Risen Christ may be present for each one of us, and we may then go out into society and reach out to others.

We recognize every person in the community, each with specific needs and unique gifts, and we enable one another to answer God’s call. We also recognize that in so doing we are stewards of God’s creation and are called to share our time, talents and treasures.

It is through creating a prayerful, healing, reconciling atmosphere and the sharing of ourselves in love, that we experience God’s creative Spirit among us. It binds us into God’s family, encourages each of us to become Church, and impels us to proclaim the Gospel to the entire world!

CYO is a sports ministry program for youth ages 4-14, emphasizing friendly competition through good sportsmanship and Catholic values. Led by adult volunteers who serve as positive role models and mentors within an athletic setting, the program uses sports as a venue to teach young people important life lessons and skills. Sports include soccer, basketball, baseball/softball/t-ball, volleyball, flag football, track, and most recently, cheer.
