St. Jerome Catholic Church is a family of families proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
As a family of families, St. Jerome Catholic Church proclaims our vision as taught in the Gospel:
- to love Jesus Christ, present in the Eucharist;
- to form a welcoming faith-based community bonded by our spiritual values;
- to rejoice in our Christian way of living and openly recognize others' charisma;
- to humbly minister to our fellow brothers and sisters by example, thought, and word and promptly forgive their wrongdoings:
- and to give full-handedly God's blessings of time, talent, and treasure through faithful stewardship.
Companions for the Journey is an organization dedicated to serving the home bound, the sick and those grieving. We will bring Holy Communion to the shut-ins as often as you like and pray with the family caretakers.
We offer our friendship by praying with you and for you. If you are grieving over a loved one, take comfort in knowing you are not alone.
We also have a Gathering of those Grieving on the 3rd Thursday of every month. We offer a forum to voice your feelings, topics to cope, and speak with a counselor if you wish. At the request of the family, a priest will visit the sick person and give the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.
Our mission is to offer to all youth sports and recreation programs emphasizing friendly competition through good sportsmanship modeled by adult participants. To invite all participants, Catholic and otherwise, youth and adults, to share in the life of their faith community.
Registration Fee-$100 (includes shirt, socks and ball cap/visor)
