A century ago in San Antonio, Texas a small number of Roman Catholic families living in Beacon Hill began talk of the possibility of building a church for their neighborhood.... In thanksgiving for what was, in appreciation for what is, and in anticipation of what is yet to come, may God always bless the people who come to this church: St. Ann Catholic Parish.

The Bible Study Group gathers to read and discuss the Bible in order to gain a better understanding of the Word of God.
Each study session consists of Scripture reading, group interactions and a DVD presented by Ascension Press. We invite everyone to take the journey through the Bible.
Please call Martha Bailey or the parish office for session dates, location, time, and additional information.
Members of this committee minister to grieving families by helping them with funeral arrangements and to find some healing in the loss of a loved one.
Activities:
Lead a rosary at the funeral home, assist the family in finding lectors and gift bearers for the funeral Mass. For All Souls Day, the commitee organizes a memorial mass for all the families whose loved ones were buried from St. Ann during the year. In addition to this ministry, after the funeral, the commitee contacts a family member inviting them to host a rosary in memory of their loved one in their home (Valley of Tears).
The ministry continues by offering the family the opportunity to attend a monthly support group (St. Ann Support Group for the Bereaved). Once a year they hold a Holiday Workshop to help survivors through the holidays.
Anyone who feels the call to serve those who are having to deal with the loss of a loved one, are welcome to join.
We serve our parish family by reaching out to our senior citizens and our Church community.
The Social Club provides a Christmas party for home bound parishioners, sponsor the Ice Cream Social on the Feast Day of St. Ann, decorate the Dia de Los Muertos altar and assist in other Holy Day celebrations. They also host bingos for senior citizens and host fundraisers throughout the year.

We are a bilingual congregation.
