Visitors can check out a complimentary Sensory Bag from our Guest Services building, which includes:

San Antonio Zoo is committed to ensuring all guests have a memorable and comfortable visit.
Our facilities include Universal Changing Stations for adults and children requiring assistance, conveniently located at:
- H-E-B Plaza
- Kronkosky’s Tiny Tot Nature Spot
These stations are designed to meet the needs of all our visitors, providing a safe and hygienic space for personal care.
For guests seeking mobility support, we offer both manual wheelchair and ECV rentals on a first-come, first-served basis. These can be rented near the entrance of the zoo.
We recommend arriving early to secure a rental, as they are subject to availability. Our pathways are designed to be wheelchair-friendly, ensuring all guests can enjoy the zoo’s exhibits and attractions comfortably. Personal mobility devices are permitted but must not have the capability to exceed 4 mph.
