We are a team of passionate individuals who want to make the world a more welcoming, inclusive, and safe place for people with disabilities and medical conditions.
Our mission is to increase community inclusion, safety, and dignity for individuals with disabilities and medical complexities so that each person can live their life to the fullest, and our communities can benefit from the talents and contributions of all.
Traditional restrooms do not serve the needs of our diverse community. In order to meet everyone's needs, it is essential to have Family/Companion Care restrooms with the proper equipment.
We hope to make a difference one project at a time, installing critical equipment in our public places, such as universal changing tables, lifts, ramps, communication boards, adaptive wheelchairs for use outdoors, and more.
Our projects include:
- Advocating for increased access, in partnership with the Changing Spaces Campaign.
- Raising funds for projects that increase access and inclusion.
- Mapping accessible locations.

Too often, individuals with disabilities are left out of our community events and activities due to a lack of equipment that would make inclusion possible.
Your gifts will be used responsibly toward the following efforts:
- Installing height-adjustable universal changing tables. These generally cost between $5,000-$10,000.
- Donating personal lifts to help people safely transfer from their mobility equipment onto the changing table or commode. These generally cost between $2,000-$3,000.
- Donating communication boards for community spaces. The cost varies.
- Donating Adaptive equipment such as water wheelchairs for pools or adaptive playground equipment. The cost will vary depending on the project.
- General advocacy efforts to promote community inclusion for people with disabilities.
- Maintaining the Universal Changing Table map, which is a free resource for anyone who needs to find a universal changing table.
- Flyers and materials to promote awareness. This generally costs around $200.
