Chapter 3 (C3) (Nonprofit / Christian )

C3 creates opportunities for connecting people and serving others.

  • We teach and share our developing faith for the common good.
  • We create space for conversation, recovery, and rest.
  • We mobilize grassroots service initiatives.

While C3 is made up of many volunteers, all of our efforts are led by at least one of the directors.

Pioneer Group San Antonio is a community of people in recovery that honors the biblical roots of the 12-step movement.  We seek to grow in our recovery and as followers of Jesus through a commitment to the program, sponsorship, fellowship, study, and worship.

All year long, Pioneer hosts several weekly meetings and classes for people in recovery. From weekly 12-step meetings in local churches to multiple class and Bible study offerings at recovery facilities and homeless shelters, Pioneer reaches thousands of lives each year by building and fostering relationships between the recovery community and the faith community.

We are coming alongside an existing wellness program at Stone Oak Pilates designed for those living with Parkinson's-helping them improve their daily movement and activity.

The Pilates for Parkinson's program provides knowledge, community, and inspiration for movement to those living with Parkinson's in an around the San Antonio area.  Through the charitable giving of our partners, we seek to offer reduced rates and scholarships for Pilates classes to those patients in need of financial assistance.
