The Faith-Based Initiative, a Division of the City's Department of Human Services, endeavors to improve the lives of families and communities most in need through collaborations based on relationships, partnerships, and services activated across networks between the San Antonio faith community, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups.
The San Antonio Faith-Based Initiative will continue to foster compassion with the support of other public, private, community, and faith-based organizations.
@TheIntersection is a weekly virtual gathering of civic and faith leaders. Its purpose is to strengthen leadership via sharing knowledge and the potential partnering of efforts toward a more compassionate San Antonio.

@TheIntersection is open to all community and faith leaders of all traditions and religions interested in civic engagement.
