TEAMability (Nonprofit )

TEAMAbility does what no one else does – combine evidence-based practices from various disciplines to form a unique model of working with children who have complex disabilities. A model that demonstrates results not achieved through traditional ways of working with these children.

The families of children with multiple disabilities face unique, daily challenges. They seek knowledge about their child's disabilities and the impact of those disabilities on the child's abilities. They seek to identify realistic expectations for their child. They seek understanding, allies and emotional support.

TEAMability's monthly Parent Forums provide the opportunity for family members to share their knowledge and resources, learn from one another and experts in the field of disabilities, make friends, and become a united voice for their children. Family Centered Parties and Outings strengthen family relationships and are an opportunity for families to relax and have fun.

We serve parents, caregivers, and siblings of children 0-22 years who have combined multiple disabilities - cognitive, communication, sensory, motor and medical fragility.
