KidzTime is an opportunity for volunteers and their children to engage with the children at Strong Foundation. The children participate in activities with each other while the parents attend life skill classes. It is much more than childcare; it is spending quality time with the children to encourage them and to show them the love of Christ. The kids love it, and so will you!

What you will do:

• Play with children! We have a basketball court, balls, fort, swings, slides, and bikes.
• You can organize games or maybe bring a simple craft. (Avoid stickers, and markers or paints that are not washable.)
• Snacks and drink donations are always appreciated. (Please avoid common allergy products such as nuts, etc.
• KidzTime is open rain or shine. The rain plan would be to move inside with activities such as movies, games, and other table activities.

Many people would describe us as a homeless shelter, but we are so much more. We help and serve families with children who are willing to do their part to help themselves. The adults work and seek employment. We also have them attend classes and group meetings that focus on their individual and family needs. We like to use tools such as food, clothing and shelter to share the truth that a relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important necessity in life.

Strong Foundation operates as a "Mission Center" where people can serve or participate as a missionary, while they stay faithful to their home church. You don’t have to leave the country to be used by God and be involved in missionary work. Our missionaries work locally, in and around San Antonio, serving the needs of people in the Bexar county area.

• Financial assistance: We are not funded by city, state, or federal government because we want the freedom to share the good news about Jesus Christ. Seek the Lord for how He might want you to get involved. Everyone that prays, serves, and gives is part of what God is doing at Strong Foundation.
