We, The "communio" of St. Joseph, are a multi-cultural Parish whose center of life is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Love! We are the Eucharistic Community of St. Joseph.
As Disciples of Christ, brothers and sisters, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are called to worship God, Our Father; we are called to serve one another in charity, to grow in faith, hope, and love; to welcome visitors, and to further the presence of God in the world!
The church provides free emergency food, clothing, counseling and prayer to those in need, including seniors, the disabled, and low income families with children. Supports all of Bexar County.
The untold history of San Antonio’s African American descendants is rich and intricately tied to the stories of Spaniards, Mexicans, Germans and Canary Island populations who helped build this great city.
The San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM) is working in a grassroots effort to uncover the legacy that reaches back to the early days of the Spanish colonists and Texas Republic. SAAACAM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed to collect, maintain, disseminate, and interpret authentic African American artifacts related to San Antonio history in a community-based digital archive.
SAAACAM is reclaiming San Antonio’s Black history by empowering individuals to curate their own archives and cultivate a community-driven museum of digitized, audiovisual exhibits. Collective legacies of pioneering families will serve as the basis of the evolving collection. Information is compiled and interpreted in the context of the entire City of San Antonio and throughout Bexar County. The development of the archive is ongoing. SAAACAM is a proactive steward of cultural and physical preservation of historic African American resources.
We are a placemaking organization working every day to create a more beautiful, playful, welcoming, and prosperous downtown highlighting the San Antonio Spirit in the heart of the city. Learn about where we serve, how we serve, and everything in-between.

All are truly welcome at Travis Park Church!
Established in 1846, our church is grounded in history and vision. Today, the people of Travis Park Church continue seeking to make the world a better place through transformation of self and community. We serve and learn as siblings from all walks of life: rich and poor, housed and homeless, gay and straight, black and brown and white, secular and sacred, PhD and GED. The people of Travis Park Church seek to live and love as God does: passionately and unconditionally. God calls us on a journey forward, to break down the walls of prejudice, and to embrace all our brothers and sisters.
Travis Park’s commitment to justice means our congregation strives to remove political, cultural, and societal barriers both in the church and community that prevent people from being who God created them to be. This commitment is not based in anybody’s idea of political correctness, but in the actions and teachings of Jesus. The closer our lives mirror his life, the more available we are to experience and become God’s new creation.
Travis Park Church is affiliated with the Reconciling Ministries Network, a group of congregations and groups worldwide which have adopted statements welcoming people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
Corazon Ministries, a 20+ year-old nonprofit that helps care for San Antonio's unsheltered community, operates out of Travis Park Church.
Building industry professionals and educators help high school students learn more about potential careers in architecture, engineering, and construction.
During the program, students work in teams under the mentorship of experienced professionals, who guide them through projects that meet real industry requirements. The result is an opportunity to gain practical insight into what building industry professionals do to transform their ideas from an initial concept into a finished building.
Students also visit professional firms, attend College Night at the University of Texas at San Antonio CACP, and attend lectures on industry topics.
At the conclusion of the program year, students present their design solutions and receive feedback from local industry leaders.
In addition, every qualified senior who goes on to university study in a building industry-related field is eligible for a local scholarship.

Welcome to the newest, oldest, Presbyterian congregation in San Antonio! For 170 years FPC has been living to make Jesus visible here in center-city San Antonio and around the globe. We are a regional, Christ-centered, Biblically orthodox, missions-driven, disciple-making congregation that’s part of a brand new denomination: The Evangelical Covenant Order Of Presbyterians (ECO).
We major in vibrant worship (3 services each Sunday, plus special services all year long), Sunday school and small groups for all ages, a dynamic music ministry, and other ministries targeting all ages. We have a heart for the city, and for the world, which fuels a number of justice and mercy ministries in downtown SA, and launches a variety of mission teams around the world that seek to bring people to Christ while addressing their basic needs……linking the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22: 37) in a holistic way. We believe that knowing Christ makes all the difference in the world…..now….and eternally.
At St. Mark’s, we are guided by our core vocation, Feeding San Antonio with the Bread of Life.
